A Stylish Sponsor—Fumagalli 1891’s Handmade Ties and Scarves

Fumagalli, founded in 1891, reached out to me a few weeks ago to see if I’d be interested in trying a tie and scarf of theirs. I get a lot of these types of messages from various companies, brands and retailers, but most of them I ignore.

However, in this instance I was intrigued: Handmade in Milan using silks from Como—widely recognized as the world leader in silks—as well as scarves in patterns I could easily see myself wearing. So I accepted their offer, and received two things: a wool donegal striped tie, and a lightweight scarf.

Below are some photos of both. They are both excellent quality, with fine craftsmanship you’d expect from this price point. The fabrics are great—the donegal will be wonderful in the winter with tweeds and flannels, and the scarf is that perfect intermediate weight that’s wearable in the cool evenings of spring as well as the colder temps of winter.

Check out Fumagalli’s site here. The two particular products I received are this red donegal tie and this large-paisley scarf (now sold out). Thank you Fumagalli for your support!
