Cavour is one of my favorite tailoring brands, for their wearable Neapolitan style and high quality. You can read my full review here.

They’re deep into the spring/summer collection, so I perused the site and present my top 9 choices.

My two favorites

Linen gray glen check sportcoat – I love how this looks like a tweed jacket but made in linen for summer. Gray/black like this pairs so so well with off-white and would look great with off-white denim.

Beige French linen suit – This shade of tan is so beautiful. I’ve long sought a tan summer suit and gone through a few different variations over my lifetime. This may be the best I’ve ever come across.

Staples I’d recommend

Navy linen suit – I have a navy linen suit from Cavour and it is a fantastic seasonal choice that I love to wear every year.

DB navy hopsack blazer – If you don’t have a DB blazer in a staple fabric like hopsack, this would be a great choice. I will go through phases where I’m packing for a short trip  and instead of taking a normal single breasted blazer, will do the DB instead.

Houndstooth sportcoat – This is also vaguely winter-coded in pattern, but being silk/wool/linen it’s fantastic for warm weather. If you don’t love the winkles of pure linen, this mixture of fibers is for you.

Off-white trousers in off-white: a flat-front mid-rise pair, a pleated mid-rise pair, and the pleated high-rise pair. – My preference is the highest rise model 3. I have a pair of off-white high-twist trousers from another maker and especially for days you’re spending outside they’re great.

Fun seasonal pieces

Field jacket in olive technical fabric – I like the stand-up collar. Last season I got a similar-ish jacket from Campbell’s of Beauly and it’s a staple for me now.

Jersey striped shirt – Like a dress shirt but in knit jersey, so a bit more comfort.

Suede nautilus loafers – Beautiful color in a nice, casual loafer design.
