It’s an unusual year for everybody, obviously, and typical seasonal sales are different in particular. The good people over at No Man Walks Alone ran a weeks-long 25% sale during the pandemic while donating money to charity, and now are running their normal seasonal sale on schedule, too.

Anyway, just wanted to highlight some stuff in their sale selection I think is great and worth buying. Not all of it is from this season, but their back catalogue of stuff is great anyway.

Grail coat: butterscotch suede Valstarino

This particular color is perfect to me.

An outstanding winter coat: Frank Leder Great Coat

This coat is very “metal” to me, not sure how else to describe it. It’s just a great, hardcore coat that will keep you warm but looks so cool.

Fawn flannel Rota trousers

A really subtle, great alternative to the pure gray flannel trousers of the world. Rota has a really good classic silhouette that isn’t too slim nor too full, and the handmade quality of these as well as all the trimming is perfect.

G. Inglese Reverse Stripe Oxford Spread Collar Shirt

These Inglese shirts are made by hand with close attention to detail. One thing Greg has described before which I find really interesting is that the way the yoke is made and how the shoulders fit. He says it is a now difficult-to-find Italian method that used to be ubiquitous but was changed by most of the bigger factories because men in America and elsewhere weren’t used to it. But it’s made so that where the yoke seam sits is right on your shoulder bone, with the sleeve then extending out from there. On other brands that would mean the shoulder would feel tight but it doesn’t with these because the rest of the shirt is cut to fit right.

Doppiaa wide-stripe “Capri” Collar shirt

I’m not sure why it’s called a “Capri” collar, but the fabric looks great and overall the shirt looks really great for the summer.
