Nashville is a vibrant, growing city. Known primarily for its country music scene ("Music City USA"), the last decade or so has seen rapid growth in population, resulting in major boosts to every other facet of a great city: great restaurants opening all the time; new breweries; new distilleries; new shops opening and old shops expanding. It's a great place to live, and a really fun place to visit.
If you're coming into town and want to check out the local menswear scene, here's an unofficial and not at all comprehensive list. As I explore more and get to more places, I'll add what I find. If you're local and see that a shop is missing that should be here, shoot me an e-mail to let me know.
Haymaker's & Co.
My favorite menswear shop in town, Haymaker's carries a selection of brands that both a performer and a style-conscious office professional can get behind: Drake's ties, Ring Jacket tailoring, Alden shoes, Schott Perfecto jackets, SMN denim, Faherty brand, Portuguese flannel. It's super close to Centennial Park on West End Ave., and right nextdoor to its parents shop, J. Michael's. I wrote a bit about them on my first visit back in April 2015 here.

J.Michael's
The parent shop of Haymaker's, J.Michael's is the older, more clean-cut of the two, carrying brands like Isaia, Boglioli, Incotex, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Peter Millar. They've since kind of combined inventories into the Haymakers building.

Overstock men's and women's clothing, at three locations. The West End location is just down the street from J.Michael's and Haymaker's.

Nordstrom Men’s Shop
The Nashville Nordstrom is surprisingly great. You'll find Cucinelli, Isaia, Zegna, Canali, Boglioli, Thom Browne, Eleventy, Paraboot, and other really high end shops. Nordstrom's head buyer for all of menswear told me it's one of their better stores in the whole country.

There are several high-end shops within the mall that may be of interest: Burberry, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, an Omega boutique, Breitling, and sharing a parking lot is the Rolex AD (which also carries Cartier, Grand Seiko, Hermes and other brands).
