There are a handful of small, indie brands I continuously promote that you should buy from. One of them is Besnard, based in The Hague.
Its founder and namesake Victor has always brought a level of taste to his clothing, the presentation, the branding and lookbooks that I find both inspiring and relatable.
The newest lookbook, for Spring-Summer 2025, is no exception.
Victor says, “This season, we shot the collection on the beach and at a country estate, two settings that capture the relaxed mood of warm-weather dressing.
Alongside the ready-to-wear pieces, I’ve included more made-to-measure examples to show what’s possible through the tailoring service: breathable linen suits, soft tailoring, and one-piece collar shirts.
There are also a few new additions to the assortment – namely a flight jacket, a safari jacket, and a run of knitted tees and cashmere-cotton crew necks.”
And speaking of Besnard, he launched the latest ready-to-wear tailoring, which includes this gorgeous navy dupioni silk blazer.
I reviewed Besnard’s tailoring a couple years ago, and you can read that review here.
